A tragic case of rape and murder has surfaced in the Baruipur police station area. The victim, who had been missing for two days, was found dead in a pond near her uncle's house. The victim’s family, residing in the Narendrapur police station area, reported the incident to the police, leading to a formal complaint of rape and murder. Following the complaint, Baruipur police have arrested two individuals, including the victim’s lover, Ajay Mandal, who had initially connected with her on Facebook.

The investigation revealed that Ajay Mandal, a resident of Madanpur, Baruipur, had lured the victim from her home on Friday night. Allegedly, several individuals, including Ajay, raped her before she was killed. Ajay, known in the area for his misconduct towards women, is a prime suspect in the case. The police are continuing their investigation to gather more evidence and determine the involvement of others in this heinous crime.
